Why a cluster model?

We want to see more Swedish in Africa! Large Swedish Enterprises are already in Africa, we want to create more collaboration between both small and medium size companies with larger companies to work in partnership. We need people to meet and talk.

Today we have 4 clusters focusing on Swedish business in Africa, they are Green City (Sustainable business), Healthcare, Investment and Impact. SWEACC created clusters inside the Chamber to create more member value. We understood from day one that business in Africa are Pan-African so have always had a Pan-African view in our cluster meeting and discussing. Our goal is to connect companies in various business areas and sizes to assist and help them collaborate more in non-competing areas. 

Already today we work close to many African embassies in Sweden. Clusters will help us to approach more Embassies and Government to identify the right opportunity and with a narrow business scope it is easier to find counterparts in focus countries. This can be a good way to find your best local partner!

We are also members of a Pan-European network focusing on business in Africa called EBCAM. This network opens the door to Europe and is a way to develop more collaborate with other Chambers in Europe.
